I booked an appointment with Shear Illusions in Hamilton, Ontario back in October 2011 for December 2011. Unfortunately a week before my appointment a family member fell ill so I called to cancel my appointment. I called everyday at least 5 times for a week and left voicemails. None of my calls were answered or returned until I called the day after my appointment.
The lady I spoke to could not reschedule me for another month and was very unhelpful.
So once again I call to book another appointment and they finally answer their phone after 3 days and say my gift card has expired and there is nothing they can do to help me. My gift card was not supposed to expire until April 2012.
Long story short, the promotional gift card I bought wasn't honoured. The owner did not listen to me when I booked the appointment and did not book enough time. Was berated by the owner in front of her other clients. Bad experience would never go back again.
