I use the app for hamilton cab almost everytime i need a cab and i have never had any issuses but just recently i used it to got to st joes in hamilton and home and it charged me 20 buck for a ride that was 7.50 and then i used the app again to go to general hospital and it took 20 bucks again when the fare is only 9.90 i called the first time and they fixed it and now im waiting foe them to fix it. It happened on friday. Now i have now money to get to my surgery on wednesday comming up.
I dont recommend Hamilton cab services to anyone, today was the first and last me or my family. The driver never sets foot out of is vehicle and leaves my 8 month pregnant wife to do all the lifting and not even open the trunk, she had to do it from the outside,them goes 22 km of course to present me a bill of 63$.
I called for a trans cab. 10 minutes later and no cab so I called back to inquire about the wait. I was told they dont give time estimates for trans cabs. Called back 35 minutes afte that and spoke to a supervisor. He investigated and found the transcab driver assigned to get me CHOSE ON PURPOSE TO NOT PICK ME UP, assuming that a different car would do it. These people do not deserve to be in business.
I used the app to book a car for an airport drop off at 4:30 am for my disabled mother. At about 4:32 I thought I would call and check that it was on the way, as I had not received a text confirmation. The dispatcher said they had my order (from 24 hours earlier), but that there were no cars and they had to find a car. A cab FINALLY arrived at 4:50. When I asked the dispatcher if a car would have come if I hadnt called, she couldnt answer. My mother barely made her flight.
Dont bother calling in advance to order a cab... they still show up late. Your forced to pay BEFORE even getting to your destination?!? Dirty cabs, poor service.
Twice in the last couple months I have been out walking and in one case was not feeling well, and the other it was over 35 degrees out. I stopped at the GO station and asked to be taken to Bay & Bold Sts ...twice I was turned down, it was not far enough ..once the driver told me I could use the exercise!! Both times they have no idea anything about me!! Total ignorance and terrible customer service. Will not use again!!
We ordered a cab with a dog. They sent a driver highly allergic to dogs who refused to take us. He asked for another cab and they told him they couldn’t send another and that essentially we were SOL. We ended having to bribe the driver into taking us home for way more then the app quoted price. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!
Ordered the cab for the first time and it didn't show up for 1 hour and once it reached, the driver wanted a $20 tip and flat rate to the airport. I guess tip is never mandatory but optional , anyways would never ever order for taxi again from them.
always had good service from Hamilton Cab. Drivers are usually friendly and helpful. Recently I left a very expensive tripod in one of the cabs. Though the driver had picked us up from a public area, he came back and took the time to find someone who would be able to get it back to us. The staff and dispatchers were also very helpful to us when were realized what had happened and tried to locate the tripod. many thanks:)
In contrast to the previous reviewer, I had a really enjoyable trip with Hamilton Cab. The driver picked me up from WalMart and arrived within ~10 min of calling so I didn't have to wait long. The driver loaded my groceries and stroller into the trunk, and unloaded it all without needing to be asked. Nice and friendly service!!
Cab never showed up after multiple calls. Missed my flight as a result. Customer service was rude and unhelpful. Worst I've ever been treated by a business.
