Established in 1990, D. & J. Lockhart Excavators Ltd. is a family owned business. Sales are generated from a variety of aggregate materials mined from our pit located in the West Montrose area. A second site, located in the south end of Guelph is primarily used for importing and exporting recycled material, i.e. concrete and asphalt. In addition to the many products manufactured, the company has a fleet of over a dozen trucks and trailers, as well as numerous pieces of heavy equipment. Much of the excavating and grading is performed for industrial, commercial and municipal projects. In recent years the company has also expanded their clientele to include working with residential home builders and providing site servicing for a number of different projects. operator came to pick up his machine, had no regard for my property, tore up all the gravel that was just placed, damaged my mailbox. blocked my driveway for an extended period of time. went to talk to him, had no respect for myself and yelling at my wife, he blocked the driveway and all she wanted to do was get into her own driveway, contacted the owned and he didn't even believe or care what I had to say, pretty much called me the lair of what happened. Go elsewhere for service!!!
