All around great shop. Having a luxury car it is difficult to find a mechanic that actually knows what they're doing. Kipling auto always completes the work in a timely matter and for a fair price. Terrible service. They have one mechanic with two left hands. He needed my advice how to fix my car!!! Finally I lost my temper and drove to another shop! They even tried to charge me! Do not go there!!
Advice for future customers: - ensure the description of the reason you came in is accurate on top of your invoice. - accept only an invoice that breaks out in detail the cost of parts and labour (as it is required by law) - as with any other mechanic, ask for your old parts back

A 5 star service from a 5 star mechanic. Great service and thoroughly knowledgeable and helpful staff. It's so refreshing to find people who care about their customers and not just up-selling and ripping them off. There has been several times when I have taken my car to a garage that I have been charged what I felt were excessive prices, but this has never happened at this particular place. Absolutely fantastic service provided.
I've been to Kipling Auto Centre a couple of times for car repairs. This last time, I had a doozy of a problem, or rather, several problems. Carlos and Les fixed me right up in only a couple of days and I didn't have a stroke with the bill either. I highly recommend this auto shop. They will give you estimates, work with what you can afford for what your repair issue is, and have a great turnaround time.
although you can tell that all reviews are fake, please be careful especially with the person at the front desk. She is smart , but she's using her intelligence to manipulate customers and probably to write all these cheap and intentionally poor accent stories. I only went there once and I got a very simple issue with my muffler, a rusted clamp that needed to be replaced. I got a verbal quote for an estimated $80 to $100 parts and labour. I gave them my car and the go ahead, and at the end of the day I went to pick it up. I was told that they found a much bigger problem and that they needed a longer clamp, witch was totally untrue because I temporarily replaced the rusted part with a Home Depot steel clamp and I could very well see what the issue was . I was charged $169.00 + tax ( 190.97 incl. HST) almost double the quoted price. I inspected the new clamp and I noticed that it was a regular, probably the shortest clamp you can get from the exhaust suppliers. I told her I cant believe they were so wrong with such a simple thing to do and that I was a mechanic and this operation is one of the most basic intervention that you can have done to a vehicle. I was told that : “ Why didn't you do it yourself ?” and in the end “ You may come and get $40.00 back” My question is : Is this the correct attitude to have with your clients, when their walls are filled with awards and best customers satisfaction certificates? I'm sorry you had that misunderstanding but the job was done very cheap for you. but you have to understand you payed only $165 plus tax and parts and labor, which in this case you got back $40. If you would go elsewhere for the same job you had to pay a lot more. we have to do the job right and at the some time this may happen . However I think paying $120 for muffler job is more than reasonable. next time please get a quotation from elsewhere so this you don't make a judgment. however thank you for spending $120 in our facility..
My 1998 Dodge Caravan broke down on me in a major way. I didn't have CAA or hardly any money, so I thought I was totally outta luck! This tow truck driver was nice enough to give me Carlos number. I couldn't believe he gave me FREE TOWING! All this time living in Etobicoke, and I never knew I had a friend around the corner from me! I thought my transmission was gone because it wouldn't come out of first gear and the engine wouldn't stop reving. Fernando is the best mechanic ever! He told me it was something called a control module, like a little computer for the transmission. They saved my van and my wallet for a lot less than I expected! They could have lied to me and sold me a $2,000 transmission, but they didn't and were honest with me! Thanks guys for being honest with me when I needed you the most! Jeff Goslinski, Etobicoke, ON.
I had a rough time in Toronto when some idiot smacked into my nice BMW! It's a nice 2006 black 540i with all the toys, but I didn't know who to call when my back bumper got all messed up. I sure didn't want to pay the dealership prices, and I sure didn't want to go through insurance, since it happened in a parking lot. Carlos was awesome! He got me a rental car at a huge discount, and the price was WAY better than 3 other body shops I talked to! When I got the car back, the work was so good, I couldn't tell anyone had hit it!!! The customer service was great, and Carlos knows what he is doing. By far the best experience I have ever had with a shop! Wendy Maslow Mississauga, ON.
