We have been dealing with Faulkner's for over 40 years and just recently purchased a new fridge and hood fan. Service was excellent as always and price competitive. We had a small problem upon delivery that was dealt with in minutes - so much better to deal with an independent retailer who can make things happen quickly.
We recently purchased a refrigerator from this store. The salesman, Philip, was very nice and answered all our questions patiently. Unlike the big-box stores, they do not work on commission and there is no pressure tactic to sell you something you do not want. We wanted to do business locally to keep such good business in our West Lake Shore neighborhood. We received the refrigerators and their delivery people were outstanding and careful not to scratch the fridge or our doors.
I bought an AVG wine cooler for $1,000 dollars that has become a pain to live with. It roars like an elephant,it is highly energy inefficient (the worst in its kind based on the attached tag) and the worst, it was recommended by the store owner. C'mon!! seriously??? This is an already invented technology!! I've asked for Faulkner to take it back, but they won't because they say they're small and can't deal with the vendor. You are better off buying from a larger retailer!!
Faulkner"s is a great store, the staff is very helpful and freindly. They know the product they are selling and give you the best price possible. My husband is a builder and refers all our customers to the store for there new appliances.....
Had an opportunity to visit this store and was I ever impressed. First off I love a local business vs a big box store because of the wealth of knowledge and experience - nothing beats that! They had a huge selection and the staff knew all about the product range and what would best serve a customers needs. Guess that's why they have been in business for 3 generations. Would definitely recommend them.
I purchased one of their refurbished steam ovens, they said would have a 15 month warranty. The unit was never tested and was broken on delivery. Bob has put the responsibility on a company that they purchased the unit called Return trax. Neither company has done anything about it as of yet. Bob has been very unprofessional by just directing blame on Return trax.
