    Basement Finishing / Renovation

    We had our basement finished last year by Horizon. I wanted to be smart and get at least 3 quotations before I hired anyone. I phoned 4 different companies, and Horizon Contracting and another one (can't remember who now) were the only ones to show up. Horizon Contracting had a bit better price and the guy who did the estimate spent time with me to go over the details of exactly what I wanted (the other guy seemed like he was in a rush and just wanted to get in and out). In the end, Horizon did a great job and the bill came to exactly what they said it would (they didn't try to hit us up for extras or changes we made thoughout the project). Any future jobs that I have will definately be going to them, and I recommended them to all my family and friends. My mother had a basement leak repaired by them about 5 years ago (thats how I got their name) and it hasn't leaked since. Good and honest contractors are hard to find!
