Finding trendy clothes for professional women can be a challenge, one that the founder of Cactus Clothing Company faced back in 1991. Seeing a need in Bowmanville, she decided to open her own store, one that would carry the kinds of clothes women would want to wear, in a location that’s convenient and attractive.
“Cactus opened back in 1991,” says Brittney Boone, the store’s district manager and buyer. “We’re very on-trend, carrying the latest brands and what our customers are demanding. The store has gone through many changes to fit what’s new, too. We sometimes look at old photos and see how the styles change and how the decor has changed to match. It’s amazing to see.”
