Deb Stevenson is well-known in the picturesque neighbourhood of Ancaster as a people person. The expert hair stylist, with more than 30 years of experience, founded her salon Deb 'n Hair based on a desire to help others achieve beautiful, healthy hair. Her shop has undergone a few changes over the years, including a renovation in 2016, but it's Deb's eye for detail and care for others that keeps people returning. From its humble beginnings as a one-person shop, to a salon that has evolved to now offer spa services, it's clear that Deb's passion for customer relationships has kept business thriving.
“I was 20 years old when I opened my business and still have some of the original clientele returning,” says Deb. “The interaction with people always keeps the job fun.”
Whether you decide to go in for a cut or colour, Deb will always try to fit you in. Deb is an easygoing conversationalist who bends over backwards for clients and treats them all like old friends. You'll certainly feel at home in her shop.

Deb and her staff are always friendly and have been accommodating to me in the past when I have had to reschedule or am running late. The salon itself is very clean and the hairdressers are excellent!
This is the worst hair salon I have ever been to. She has done an amazing job with her webpage, but the salon is not at all like it is shown on the website. She has very little idea of haircoloring. I learned later that her clients are all elderly women who just need a simple cut. But when you speak on the phone she gives you a different picture. I was surprised to see the inside of a salon so unkempt and dirty. Then I realised she hardly has any customers. So I am surprised how the salon is sti
