Seaside Communications was founded in 1979 and provides Analog, Digital and HD Cable TV, Telephone, and High-Speed Internet services to cable subscribers in Glace Bay, New Waterford, Louisbourg, Baddeck, St. Peter's and several other Cape Breton communities. Sister Company: Seaside High-Speed is one of two companies contracted to implement the province of Nova Scotia's rural broadband project, which has expanded high speed Internet access throughout the province. Seaside High-Speed serves rural portions of Cumberland, Colchester, Halifax, Pictou, Antigonish, Guysborough, and the four counties of Cape Breton.
