Had the estimator over to do the measurements - even before he started measuring he tried to upsell us on new railing and moulding, telling us our railing and moulding had to come out and would be damaged in the process, so new was required. Of the two other flooring companies that came to quote, both said they could work with with the existing moulding and railings.
