I was exceptionally well trained to produce paintings and sculpture at the Ontario College of Art. Upon graduation I found employment in a boatyard in Baddeck, Nova Scotia. I built a studio and foundry in Baddeck. By 1990 I was producing large outdoor cast cement sculptures.
In the year 2000 I moved to Halifax to live closer by my adult children. Here, I developed a small painting kit that mounts on top of a hiking cane. With this I paint landscapes plein aire. In my studio I elaborate upon these small paintings with larger pieces. I also produce still lifes and figurative paintings within my work space.
