I bought a beautiful set of pine cabinets from Nuway. It wasn't long before doors started breaking on the hinged side. Part of the problem is the poorly designed hinges allowing overextension an easy error to make. Anyhow it was obvious the main problem with these doors is lack of glue. only a dab if that on each join. They agreed to fix 1 door and after that was it even tho they admitted there was not enough glue. I have repaired almost every door in the set and each time, no glue!
Initially I thought our cabinets looked nice but very quickly they started failing apart, they are not even a year old and I have already had to call in a repair person twice. They are uneven, joins are coming apart, and they were installed poorly. I would not recommend Nu Way to anyone and wish I had selected a different company.
Took Nuway 3 weeks to do our cabinets & I was told 1 day. After numerous ph calls & emails to try to get them to finish.
Loved my cabinets but I chose colors, glass, countertop, etc. The sales guy tried to take credit for my cabinets yet he tried to convince me to go with all espresso. I brough pictures of what I wanted. Cabinet hardware I purchased online.
The countertop was installed & cut wrong & patched like a quilt. Took a month of ph calls, emails & stress to get them to replace it. I finally got mad & emailed the owner. The sales guy gave me the runaround & blamed the company who did the countertop. They took my countertop away to get the new one but they made the wrong counter & had to reinstall the old one. My countertop is still not right. The seam of the countertop does not match up & sticks out.
When they delivered my countertop they drove onto our lawn & wrecked our grass. Our driveway had 2 vehicles parked there & was plowed. They didn't come inside & ask us to move our vehicles. It was obvious that our lawn wasn't the driveway. There was no tracks or anything in front of our steps. They got stuck & still kept trying to drive onto our lawn. I emailed them about fixing the lawn but never got any satisfaction. In the end my builder repaired the lawn at his expense because Nuway wouldn't fix it. It wasn't my builders fault & he shouldn't have had to pay for it.
I recently emailed the owner of Nuway re: our builder having to pay to fix our lawn. He said my email was distasteful??? That I was having a bad day?? I wouldn't even deal with them anymore for anything.
To save yourself nothing but stress I'd strongly recommend you not use Nuway Kitchens to do your kitchen cabinets.
We had an entire kitchen built by Nu-Way Kitchens, and we were were very disappointed with their service.
Although the sales staff were initially friendly, when our counters were manufactured and installed incorrectly, Nu-Way became oppositional and very difficult to deal with.
We were misinformed about what would be done to fix the mistakes that had been made, and the mistakes were ultimately not rectified in time for the purchase of our house.
Nu-Way blamed one of their suppliers and did not take ownership of the problem, as they should have.
When we asked for information about when the mistakes would be fixed, their sales and management staff acted in an unprofessional and adversarial manner, making fixing the problem unnecessarily stressful. Nu-Way staff went so far as to hang up on us when we called for confirmation that the problems would be fixed. No apology for mistakes with cabinets or for unprofessional conduct ever extended.
We strongly recommend using another company for your cabinets.
