Since 1950, close to 9000 young men and women have received aviation and military training in Saint John as members of 527 Squadron. They have learned aviation related subjects, drill, leadership, citizenship and the value of community service.Through regular attendance and good performance, Cadets may qualify for a number of summer courses provided by the Canadian Forces. Camps range from two weeks for newer Cadets to Leadership Courses and International Exchanges for senior Cadets. 527 Squadron is very proud that since its establishment more then 250 Cadets have earned their Glider or Private Pilot's License through our programs.
