I went to Hank the Mechanic a little over a week ago for an MVI, I had an appointment for 10am, when my vehicle was finally done at 11:30 I was given a list of repairs which would be needed to pass the inspection and a bill for $39.55, $25 for the MVI and $10 for shop fees + taxes (what shop fees cost $10 for an MVI I'm not sure but whatever) I asked for them to due up a quote and give me a call, that was 9 days ago and I haven't heard back so I decided to take the list of repairs needed and go to a different shop to get the work done. Out of the 7 repairs needed according to Hank the Mechanic staff I apparently only needed 3 to pass the MVI. Also he told me that my CV boot was torn and that they no longer sell just the boot so I would need a new axel, I know enough about cars to know they do sell the boot seperate for $25-$30 as opposed to an axel at $100 - $150, I can't afford to spend money on repairs not needed, if you're the same I say avoid Hank the Mechanic.
We searched months for the right used car for our son. A family member recommended Hank, and through his auction buying process, he was able to get the exact car we wanted within a week, and saved us couple grand compared to local lots. And the car is amazing!
Service was excellent, shop and reception area are top notch.
The service from Hank the Mechanic is excellent - i have been going to Hank's for a year now. Tells me what needs to be done and does it. Has not once lied to me about the car. The prices here are excellent-for all the work that has been done to my car has not even reached 400.00 since going to Hank's. The staff are friendly and treat you with repect.
Hank was great at both helping me find a vehichle and giving me a great price. What makes his business great is that he puts value on the customer and places importance on their satisfaction. My father has gone to Hank's for the past 15 years and I will be a returning customer as well.
I have been dealing with Hank the Mechanic for at least 15 years. He has always provided that little extra bit of service that builds that trust. Does what you ask and when he sees potential issues will always call and explain. Prices I have found are always fair. You get what you pay for. He has kept alot of my sorry old vechicles on the road and provided much honest advice. We are now going to use his services to purchase a newer vechicle. He has no loyality to any make so we are getting honest opinions. Even my daughter takes her car to him. Like I say 15 years would not even consider changing.
EXCELLENT SERVICE! I have taken all of my family's vehicles to Hank the Mechanic for over five years. On every single visit the work performed by the owner and staff of this garage has been first rate! In fact, on several occasions, the work has not only been reasonably priced and performed in a timely manner, but has saved me a substantial amount of money over what would have been charged by the dealership for exactly the same parts and labour. Also, Hank has caught several potential problems and addressed them before they became a major issue that would, no doubt, have left me stranded! I know that when I take my vehicle to Hank the job will be done professionally, and that all necessary work will be explained, and a price will be quoted, before he begins the job. It's a great feeling to find a local garage that you can trust in this day and age, and I will continue to have all of my vehicles serviced with Hank!
