tara's woven work is informed by her studies in textile arts at the ontariocollege of art and design and inspiredby her travels to thailand were where she learned traditional silk weavingtechniques. her loom is set up in the studio area of the winnipeg shop where you will often find her surrounded by skeins of beautiful yam rhythmically creating a one of akind luxurious scarf. although tara no longer has as much time as she would like to weave, it is the place she goes to calm her mind. more...
