I have had multiple services here and loved them all! Cut, Color, Weave, and brow tinting! The salon is very clean and the decor is so funky and fresh. I recommend booking an appointment!

I've been going to Chelsea now for a few years and she is amazing! I'm a blonde and she always gets my colour just right! Whether I am going in for highlights or if I am changing to ombré for the winter months, i always leave with my hair looking fab!
I loved my experience at Prep. I have A LOT of annoying hair and to be honest I've never really enjoyed my salon time. However- at Prep, the atmosphere and friendly welcoming environment made the afternoon absolutely lovely. I bought a few Kevin Murphy products and now I can't imagine my life without them. I made my first visit to Prep Hair last week on countless recommendations. I have to admit it was quite intimidating given their reputation (good reputation usually equals attitudes....in my experiences). Right when I walked in through those doors I have never been greeted with such beautiful smiling faces! Michelle took care of me and I am truly and utterly happy with my results - having such a thick mane! Very professional, funky vibes for all ages. Can't wait for my next visit!
prep is the coolest salon I've even been to and I think the stylists are the most talented and most friendly in the whole city! my friends, mom, sisters and brothers all go and love it every time! And they even have a liquor license! what more can u ask for !!!
I recently went to Prep hair because my stylist of 10 years decided to move to Toronto.I was very scared that I wouldn't be able to find the same quality of service and relationship that I had with her.I heard wonderful things about Prep from girls from work and thought I would give it a try and SO HAPPY I DID!All the girls are very passionate about what they do.I had Chelsea (who I believe is the owner) and she made me feel so welcome.Will definitely make this my go-to salon.Great work!
I've been going to Prep since it opened and to my stylist since she was just a student. The salon has such a great vibe which is embodied through their instagram account, which features so many amazing dyes, dos, and deals they have going on.
The stylists are so talented, I truly believe this place has the cream of the crop in Winnipeg.
Another cool thing about Prep is what it was born to be- a blow dry bar. The first in the city to REALLY support your pre-outing grooming.

I visited Prep in December of 2013, and was very disappointed. Very unprofessional - all of the stylists were drinking wine and gossiping the entire time I was getting my hair done right where I was seated. My stylist was late for my appointment, and left multiple times to go check on another client while I was in the chair. They don't seem to have a handle on booking - some stylists are in charge of their own schedules and the receptionist cannot book appointments, which is extremely inconvenient as a client. WAYYYYYY over priced. A trim and blow dry (no flat iron finish) set me back $40 + taxes and tip. Not worth the money at all.
