Ian is a fantastic driving instructor! He taught me how to drive safely and confidently which helped me pass my N first try!!! He’s an extremely knowledgeable instructor, and will teach you everything you need to know for your test and to pass your test!!
I would highly recommend Ian at Arrive Alive. He gave both of our sons fantastic lessons and they both passed their test on the first try. To be honest the kids came home with some tips that I had no idea about as well. ;). Ian is an excellent driving instructor! He taught my son to be a confident and safe driver and gave him all of the skills that he needed to pass his N test. Ian was on time (usually early), organized, communicated well with my son and I and most importantly was calm, patient and positive with my son.
I just had an encounter with this company driving. It was very clear this instructor does not know the rules of the road. I would not have my children or anyone take instruction from this company. I am shocked that they have not had an accident .
I used Arrive Alive over five years ago for my lessons and I would like to express my appreciation toward Ian and his instructing. He was very personable and made learning the rules of the road fun and concise. He is truly great at what he does and I would recommend him at a drop of a hat to anyone who is looking for driving lessons. Thanks Ian :)

Ian, he surpasses what I needed for a teacher in driving! He makes you feel so comfortable as the driver while still pushing you in order for your growth to be substantial. My older sisters have all taken lessons through drive alive and have had positive experiences that have taken their skills in driving far. Ian is fun but focused and works hard to achieve his goals and to stay organized! He always come on top! I am thankful to have been mentored by him and am sad it's all over! -Delaney T
Ian saved my life! Amazing driving teacher. I started taking driving lessons through another company (wont be named) starting in February, & it didnt work out. It ended in me crying and leaving the vehicle. He told me i would never pass get my lisence. Brutal, right? I didnt let that bring me down though! I heard about arrive alive through a few friends so i thought id give it a try. Sure enough, one lesson with Ian and i was confident as ever! Hes amazing. 4 lessons later i got my N :)
