Klein, our founder and master craftsman, grew up in Vienna, Austria, learning his trade in the fur industry at the age of 14. Coming to Canada in 1956 he launched Capilano Taxidermy. Hand sewing when the competition used hot glue, hand painted glass eyes imported from overseas instead of generic glass eyes and even touring the continent in search of new techniques and materials are just a few the examples setting his company apart.
