When Arie Winkelhorst started his business, he opened up a propane and natural gas installation facility, offering automotive propane conversions. After 27 years of building and running Excel Auto Care, Arie retired in 2012 and his son, David, grounded his aviation career to take the reins of the successful Langley-based family business. Since taking over, David has incorporated car and truck repair services to meet customer needs.
“We still do fuel conversions, but primarily on bigger commercial fleets looking to convert," says David.
Continuously evolving with customer needs, Excel Auto Care is a premier one-stop shop for automotive repair and maintenance. “Whatever vehicle comes through the door, we’ll work on it, including all of the imports,” says David. “And we do everything from brakes to engine repair.” Excel Auto Care is fully certified to service all years, makes and models of private vehicles and commercial fleets with all fuel types, including gasoline, diesel, propane or natural gas.
Conveniently located next to the Langley AirCare Testing Facility, Excel Auto Care is also a Certified AirCare Repair Centre as well as a Designated Provincial Vehicle Inspection Facility.
