Since she was just 15 years old, Mandy has been working in various flower shops around Vancouver. After going to school for a different field, Mandy was presented with an opportunity to own and run her own flower shop. Combining her passion for flowers with her artistic creativity, Mandy started Plush Floral Studio. “We do funerals, weddings, all events large and small,” says Mandy. “I’ve done arrangements for all kinds of occasions, including birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine’s day, Mother’s day, celebrations of life, graduations, daily and ‘just because’ arrangements.”
Drawing on years of experience in the industry, Mandy cites her outside-the-box thinking towards floral arrangements and incredible community support and involvement as the reasons for her success. “I’ve worked in a lot of flower shops and with a lot of different people who have influenced my understanding of the business. I like to keep it lighthearted and fun. We even host workshops in the store to help others learn how to properly work with flowers and plants,” explains Mandy. “I really value the boutique style of the store. It’s got a very friendly and artistic atmosphere.”
The entire experience was very enjoyable, Mandy worked with me to give me exactly what I envisioned and she even worked within my budget to give me an affordable price.if price is no bar they make the most elegant arrangements I have seen, and if you are on a budget they will work harder with you to meet it than any other florist.
Mandy is always able to produce the most beautiful arrangements that can be used for days. I've been to other florists, but none of them were as personable as Mandy. You are always in great hands at Plush!! Whether you need just one arrangement for a special occasion, or if you are looking for 30 table top arrangements, this is the place to go. They have a beautiful shop located on the main strip in burnaby.
Mandy is passionate about what she does and it shows in her arrangements, is incredibly talented, and also really listened to my requests. I couldn't have been happier with the result. Not to mention the pricing was extremely reasonable. Couldn't give a higher recommendation for this store.
