We had four quotes to compare and Don's came in very competitively. We gave him the task of drain tile repair and the huge job of removing the stump of a 65 foot maple. These are good local boys that work hard.
I had a burst waterline! I was extremely worried about the cost to fix it! I called A&W and before I knew it, they were there helping me fix it:-) I was really impressed with the way they were quick to help clean it all up! I can now shower again without the worry of the burst waterline!
Had there team out to replace my drain tile and the crew was excellent, they worked in a professional and respectful manner and got the job done very quickly as they worked hard. I was around for most of the job, any questions I had were answered accurately and without hesitation. The price was right and when finished, the yard was graded how I wanted it and I was very happy with the job they had done.
Don from AW Excavating and drainage asked me to write a review as he has done work for my husband and I many times. We buy and sell homes for a living and replace the drain tile on almost every home we flip . Don has done at least 10 houses for us over the past 8 years. He is always been professional and fair with his price. Once , his machine hit our gutter and Don had it replaced with in 2 days at his expense. His crew are also professional and prompt. We have recommended him many times.
We had been having problems with our basement leaking. All the quotes we had were ridiculously high!! We called A&W and the quote we got was half the cost! He was very reasonable and efficient with us! I am glad that we called A&W as we have everything fixed, without the high cost to fix it!
Had them do some work on my lot,they had no idea what they were doing. Most of the pictures on the website is of my lot which I had to have a real excavation company come in and clean up their mess. Don will tell you he has lots of experience in all areas of drainage and excavation this is not the case. In the end Don became very aggresive and unreasonable. Do yourself a favour don't call A&W Drainage and excavation.

I am the owner of A+W EXCAVATING and DRAINAGE. I am commenting on the negative review from Paul, the customer that made the comments. This customer had us excavate his lot , then haul in material . The material was compacted to grade. We also built rock retaining walls for customer , who messed up grades and had us re do . At time of 1st invoice customer held back 20% of invoice. He called us back for some more work about a week later , when we were 90% done i asked for payment in full. He refused , at this time we moved our equipment out and are seeking damages in court. If you need work done , we are your guys . We have been in the industry for 25 years and guarantee all our work. We do however expect to be paid when the job is complete.
