When Jordan Law discovered spin classes as a way to get fit, it set her on a path to help others. But she knew she wanted her studio, Spinunity, to be about more than fitness. “For us, fitness is only one half of the pie,” says Jordan. “Although we create a motivating atmosphere to get a solid workout, we wanted to create a studio that was much more community-minded.”
Spinunity opened with the goal of creating a facility where people could enjoy getting fit in an atmosphere that is about health and wellness. “Here in Sherwood Park there weren’t many options for spin classes,” says Jordan. “So it was an opportunity to open more classes in a unique environment. For us, it was taking the craft to the next level.”
The Sioux Road location is big enough for Spinunity to have full amenities plus be able to offer child-minding during the day. Parents can work out and have their children close by. It’s a flat rate so they don’t have to rush and can socialize after their workout. “They can work out, shower and stay to have a juice,” says Jordan.
