Scanning the tickets into the theatre was horrible and slow and only one person at each entrance on second balcony. 3 people to show us to seats should have been at door. Scanning machine did not work well. I noticed after the show was supposed to start a bunch of people came in and obviously did not get tickets scanned. Horrible to start and wait. Person we had was new apparently and tried really hard but did not do it well.

The Jubilee is an awesome stage for the performing arts, including musicals, live theatre and, of course, live music by local and international artists. Because it’s not an arena, you get a more intimate setting in this theatre, which is great for artists who want to connect with their fans and put on a show to remember. Rather than an impersonal stadium experience, fans here will feel like Vance Joy, Blue Rodeo or Johnny Reid are performing just for them.

This is the absolute best place to catch a musical. Wherever you sit, you’ll have a clear view of the stage and will be able to hear everything, thanks to the fantastic acoustics (even if the performers look like little ants from your last row seat). The Jubilee has been home to countless Broadway Across Canada productions, including Wicked, Chicago and The Lion King, plus original ballet performances, like Balletlujah (a ballet based on the life of Alberta-born singer k.d. lang).
