Really Great Food

Went for dinner with my wife and four other friends, we were very surprised at the restaurant atmosphere once we got inside it was very deceiving from the out side but as with the cosy atmosphere the service was very friendly and efficient she was very helpful in making reccomendations on popular dishes we shared our assorted appetizers and all orders our own entrees ,they have a great variety on there menu all of our dishes were very tasty and fresh we will all defiantly be back

Best Italian Cuisine EVER!

I have been coming to Romano's for quite a few years now and I have to say they have NEVER failed me! The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is quaint and the staff is quick and friendly. I host all my my family functions at Romano's and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else! If you're looking for a great place to relax and enjoy an amazing meal or host a family gathering/function, hands down Romano's is the place to go!

GREAT ITALIAN EATING

This was our first visit to Romano with my fiancees family and my family so we choose this restaurant since it was highly recommended Its in a bit of an odd spot but inside the restaurant the decoder is Rustic and warm we were greeted by a hostess which I later found out was the owner, we were then greeted by our server who was very helpful in suggesting some popular appetizers we shared several apps calamari, pizza, spiducci and a rapini mix they call Minest , I had the chicken Sorrento my fiancee had the Rack of Lamb both delicious the rest of the family had risotto, seafood pasta and grilled shrimp we all lmoved it the food uality was great The server was efficient and fun , we really enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back with our friends

Birthday party for my girlfriend

I booked my girlfriend birthday here on a Friday night I had about 19 people and I didn't want a preset menu ,most places I called didn't really want to do it and some didn't even call me back, When Romanos called me back they were very accomidating to what I wanted the girl on the phone was very helpful, When we arrived our table was ready we had our own designated server who suggested we order few apps to share , ( appetizers were great)we all got our meals hot and quick I brought my own cake and they cut and served it for me Definatly be back for dinner and any other dinner party

We Loved it

This Restaurant was reccommened by a co worker and she said we would Love it, and she was right,I did come on here and check out the reviews some good some bad but ,we wanted to try it for ourselves,The restaurant is very cozy nicely decorated The menu had alot of variety so we shared appetizers ,fried calamari,porchetta,and a really great mixed rapini and bean dish.I had the calabrese pizza,and my husband had the Rack of Lamb which he said was great,our guest had ,Spelt Ravioli ,Huge sesame Salon Salad,Rissotto ,And A stuffed Chicken dish everyone enjoyed there dinner, portions were great ,Service was friendly,we will be back

Great Take-out for Christmas

Every Christmas eve we order their amazing Seafood platter in marinara sauce,the price will work out to about $25.00PP We also buy a jar of their tomato sauce for $10.00 and all we have to do is put the fish in the oven, make the pasta and salad and you get a stress free - enjoyable dinner for Christmas eve- I highly recommend, but you need to place your order first week of November

Purchased a dealfind coupon, and decided to go there for a saturday night dinner. Called them around 12 on Saturday , left a message, noone called me back. When got ready for dinner, I decided to double check and called them to make sure they have a table for me. Whoever answered was extremely rude, said she did not have any tables, and I asked why they did not call me to tell me that, she told me they called everybody. I was very upset, and actually wanted to get my money back from dealfind. Few months later we decided to go there, and I made reservations with a very friendly guy, got there on time, service was not bad, food was not bad at all, marinara sauce was very tasty, freshly made. Overal, good experience. The restaurant has amazing design inside, very cozy and romantic. Outside-- you would never guess that it is a nice restaurant, its located in industrial area.

Great Find

We discovered this place because we bought a voucher from Deal Find,30.00 for 70.00 worth of food and beverages, when we drove up we wernt sure what to expect but when we went inside the decore was up to date, stunning, warm and very comfortable,we were seated by the freplace(we had reservations)Our server came over told us the specials,gave us menus wich had alot to choose from,we started with fried calamari and pizza Bianca both were very good and crispy, then i had the Chateu brian and my wife had the Seabass special and we shared the Tira mi sue for dessert. WOW everything was Amazing we both really enjoyed our dinner,lookiing forward to going back to try the Pastas they looked great too.

Great night out with friends and Romanos helped make it just right,The service was beyond just taking our order the server went out of her way to ensure we had a great time she server suggested what to order wich included a huge selection of appetizers ,coconut shrimp,fried calamari pizza and this great stuff that the server said is a really popular dish MINESTRA wow she was right .I ordered the linguini with fish and my wife ordered the stuffed chicken both were very fresh and very tasty .The rest of my friends ordered the salmon ,gnocchi,steak,pasta with meatballs and all my friends thought it was grreat.It was a great expierince.and i would highly reccomend this restaurant.

Romano's was a great restaurant. The pizza was really good and Mom Dad and Nan thought that the food that they ordered was really great too. The service was pretty good except for when they made a mistake and didn't substitute something that Dad wanted them to substitute but they fixed it right away. We didn't have to wait at all in a line up. It was a really great restaurant overall and I would like to visit again.

i took my girlfriend out for dinner at Romano's the other night to celebrate valentine's and it will now only be remembered as the worst valentine's day ever!!! We had to choose from a select valentine's day menu which did not have much choice and when we asked if we could have something else other than what was on the menu they said no with the reason being that the kitchen was going crazy tonight. That was ridiculous, especially when the restaurant was not even half full! The food was absolutely DISGUSTING. We ordered the lamb skewers, gnocchi with cream sauce and penne a la vodka. The only dish that was remotely bearable was the penne a la vodka. The skewers were overcooked and the gnocchi was soggy. It would be a compliment to say the service was horrible, we had to ask for extra bread three times and left without seeing it come to our table. It was also very easy to spot out the owner who did not seem very friendly at all and made the dinner even more uncomfortable. We came in hungry and we left starving! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is a shame that this restaurant calls itself Italian.

It was my wife's birthday and I have to say...

It was my wife's birthday and I have to say, Romano's made it an embarrassing experience. We have gone to Romano's in the past when it was not as busy, but even then this place is at best, ok. The service and the food was really bad. The owners here need a reality check. The waitress was obviously not experienced and kept forgetting to bring us napkins, cheese, pepper, water etc. It was pathetic! Then she came to the table and apologized for her inefficiencies because she had a rough night the night before!!! Just ridiculous. Now the food. The Lamb Skewers were cold and chewy and the Pizza is comparable to really bad take-out pizza; not authentic/classic Italian, when they finally arrived. Our friends did not have great things to say about their order either. My wife had the Tilapia and was bland and well overcooked. Sorry Romano's, your place is a disaster! Goodbye!

Disappointing....

The place was nice initially walking in....the servers seemed alright, they just did their job, nothing more! The food was definitely NOT Italian. My Penne were overcooked, and the sauce had strange spices in it. We were not very impressed with the food. Neither was the company we were with. Very expensive for BLAH food!!

Wonderful Establishment!

To all you haters out there I just have to say that Romano's is one of the best places I've ever eaten at. I can't believe some of the bad reviews that I've been reading...just ridiculous and simply not true! I would definetly recommend this restaurant to anybody who's looking for excellent Italian food, fantastic atmosphere and great staff! Thumbs up Romano's keep up the great work...a wonderful establishment!

i went on thursday night ,they had live entertainment ,it was full of people,the food was incredible,service was great,i would go back for a thursday experience.

Ghastly!

We thought we'd give this revolting eatery a try and were we ever wrong to even think about it! Seabass, well overcooked, dry. Plain and unseasoned. Just aweful. *this is what I had Veal Chop - Very expensive and the quality of the chop does not warrant the price. It wasn't cooked to order. Seafood Platter - My friend tells me she orders this (Zuppa di Pesce - Stewed Medly of Seafood) everywhere she goes and this was atrocious in comparison. Risotto ai Funghi - Romano's does not use risotto! Which is Italian rice or Arborio rice. They do not use Porcini mushrooms! This is where the flavour and color comes from in the "Classic" Italian Mushroom risotto. They choose to use Saffron instead, making it a yellow version of mushroom risotto. Odd indeed. In case they don't know Risotto with Saffron is Risotto alla Milanese. Hope your reading! All in all it was so bad it was humorous. . . Never ever again!

Solid Resturant

This resturant is good overall. The mussels and calamari are exceptionally good. The pasta is also good. Nice atmosphere inside the resturant. I would definitely visit again.

Banquet Hall Food .... Thats Woodbridge! and thats what this place is all about. I've been there 3 times now for one reason or another and thats it for me. Always a huge dissapointment. They charge as though it were fine dining but it's nothing more than Tony and Tina's at your local banquet hall. You can buy those skewers anywhere and not burn them. The Gnocchi were soft and mushy. The fish smelled bad. Only the wine was good. Cheers.
