Café Larue Et Fils (Jarry) welcomes you to their dining room. You can even enjoy the sun on their terrace. They graciously provide a take-out menu and are open nightly from Monday to Friday. Payments by Visa and MasterCard are recognized.
A Villeray mainstay since 2009, Café Larue & Fils has been a gathering place for neighbourhood residents who quickly become regulars, drawn to its warm atmosphere and exquisite espresso-based drinks. “Café Larue & Fils is a social space, a real nexus for the neighbourhood, where people meet over a quality coffee topped with the purest possible steamed milk,” says co-owner Charles Ugo Boucher. “We share our values in the sense that we’re not only here to do business, but to be a part of neighbourhood life.”
Before opening their café, Charles and his partner worked together in a securities brokerage firm. Secretly, they each had the same dream, and when their company was bought out by a competitor, the coast was clear for them to make that dream come true. “We started talking about it, and Villeray naturally emerged as the best neighbourhood for our project,” he recalls. “We could sense a wave of positive change, and that it was a great place for families. The neighbourhood spoke to us.”
