Meet the owner

Tom Porco of Cyclewerx understands very well why motorcycle riding is growing in popularity. “It’s just pure freedom,” he says. “You get on the road and just forget about what’s going on in the rest of life. It’s a great thing.”

That freedom that he so loves is being discovered by countless new riders. And, because Tom insists on hiring mechanics that are as honest and friendly as they are skilled, many first-time riders are flocking to Cyclewerx. Novice riders, especially women, trust the staff at Cyclewerx to offer advice in a way that is respectful and open. In fact, one of the reasons Tom got into business for himself was so that he could insist on working with likeminded people – people who value good service.

In fact, one of the reasons Tom got into business for himself was so that he could insist on working with like-minded people – people who value good service. “We're not here to talk down to customers; we are here to help,” he says. “Where else are you going to go where someone will come out and chat, take a look at your bike, tell you what’s wrong? I’ve never experienced that at another shop – that kind stands out with us.”

I have dealt with owner, Tom Porco, for over 15 years, bought one motorcycle through him, and had him and staff work on my 750 Yamaha, 450 Honda and 1100 BMW. He has always been fair with cost, excellent with work, reliable, helpful and pleasant. I have referred other riders to him. All are very pleased. I see one multi-posted strong complaint and that is the absolute opposite of all our experiences. Anyone can call me to verify my remarks. Merci. AJW.

Cyclewerx has had my motorcycle maintenance business for 5 or 6 years now and I have always had excellent service and maintenance. That is why I keep coming back - that and the trust and confidence I have in Tom and his staff. That is so important, both for your riding experience and your piece of mind. Tom and his staff do top notch service and are as honest and easy to deal with as riding in the summer sunshine.

    unethical business practices

I have a serious business ethics complaint to issue against Cyclewerx, a motorcycle service and repair shop business based in Toronto, Canada. In fall 2014, I gave them a fully assembled 1976 Honda vintage motorcycle for them to rebuild and restore it fully. I paid thousands in pre-work deposits in cash and debit/credit to start the project. The bike was never rebuilt, and it sat unassembled for two years in a few storage bins on site at their garage. Some work was eventually done on the engine

    Worst Bike Shop in Toronto

This is a horrible shop, do not trust them with your bike! I brought my bike in just after I had purchased it to get a full tune up, as well as a couple of things added. I had purchased some new grips from them to be put on for starters, they assured me it was a simple task. Needless to say they didn't get put on and then I did not get them back when I picked up the bike! Then there was the complete tune up of the brakes, fluids and all that great stuff that I had paid for. After picking up the
