A few of us ordered the small chicken souvlaki plate (described by the waitress as their "signature dish," but the chicken seemed processed. It had an odd consistency. We ordered the hummus as an appetizer and didn't care for the taste. Maybe there's a difference between Greek and Middle Eastern hummus. The baklava I ordered for dessert was stale and dry. The service was lovely, but we wouldn't return because of the food.

Long a favourite!

This restaurant has long been a favourite of ours, we've been coming by on and off for many years. There are certainly more trendy Greek restaurants along this stretch of the Danforth but we tend to stick with the friendlier family run places ..... we are always made to feel welcome and comfortable here. Prices are pretty good, they don't gouge you!

When we came in, we seemed slightly unwelcome...

When we came in, we seemed slightly unwelcome because of our age. This old Greek guy (presumably the owner) asked if we had a reservation and we said no, but they seated us anyway. Once we were seated the service was better (waitress was very nice), although they brought us two calamari dishes instead of one. The food itself was amazing, though - first time I've had calamari that wasn't rubbery, and the souvlaki was great. So, if you are ever on the Danforth looking for Greek food and don't mind pretentious Greek restaurant owners giving you a table only grudgingly if you look like you won't be ordering alcohol, this is the place to be.

Greek town's best kept secret. Dined there...

Greek town's best kept secret. Dined there several times and will always come back. A quiet, quaint family-restaurant atmosphere is a refreshing change from the big-box generic Greek restaurants. The food is a good value for its price.

The best there is on Greek town for the prices they charge. It seems to be family run as well, which is a bonus.
