Leonidas Chocolates

Okay maybe they don't get a 10 for service, but they aren't that bad people, maybe I would rate them a 6-7 for service, but the Chocolate is at least an 8, definitely worth going back. :-)

I chose the orangettes and the site did not indicate they were out of stock. I was advised of this by email stating that a delivery was imminent asking what did I want to do? I asked to go ahead PROVIDED a delivery was made by 5th May. No delivery on 5th , nothing for 6 further days. No apology to the recipient , no attempt to make ammends.. nothing except a somewhat terse reply to my email complaint stating that they couldn't control Belgium Leonidas nor customs. Flippant and zero cust service

Unpleasant Experience

Terrible experience at this cafe. I was with 2 colleagues from Australia and New Zealand experiencing the taste of the Danforth. One of them went inside to purchase a large iced coffee and we sat with him at a patio table to finish. Not sitting for even 2 minutes, a staff member approached us and told us to leave because she said we needed to each purchase something to sit there. There were 2 elderly women sitting at the table diagonal to us who had not purchased anything at all from the store, and they were not asked to leave. There was also a couple sitting beside us, in which only one person had a drink as well, and not asked to leave. This staff member was quite rude and unprofessional. My colleague ended up just leaving his entire drink at the table after having only a few sips. I have been to Leonidas venues in other parts of the world with pleasant experiences and this location on the Danforth in Toronto, Ontario, Canada puts them to shame.
