came here for dinner and ordered the Famous 'Pork Bone Soup'. This place was just as I expect from a simple Korean restaurant - tasty but not excellent. Overall it was decently priced and service was good. alot of variety to choose from and i will definetly come back to try the other stuff such as the BiBimBap (which i heard was good) and the other stone pot soups which have kimchi flavoured broths. yum!

Don't know what the fuss about this place is

This place is always packed and busy, so we decided to give it a shot. We had to wait for a table, but only for 10min, no biggie. Once we were seated, the horrible experience began. We had to flag down the wait staff for everything. Considering how small the tables are and how many little dishes they give you, you would think the wait staff would clear off your tables more often, but that was not the case. Everyone's food came at different times. We ordered 4 meals and only got 2 sets of side dishes, we never even got the chance to ask for more b/c they ignored us. We also asked for separate bills in the beginning when we were ordering, we practically had to beg for this (even though this is not hard to do, only hard when you are lazy). When we received our bill, the waiter refused to take separate payments, which defeats the whole point for separate checks to begin with. The food is mediocre, taste like any other Korean restaurant.

Decent food, lousy service

Wouldn't go back there, ever. Food was decent, but one of us also found plastic packaging in their soup. Very rude service which made us feel like our group was a burden on the restaurant. If this is was rated the "Best Korean Restaurant in Toronto" then Toronto Korean restaurants are lacking something. Go someplace else.

decent no nonsense Korean food

Went during the daytime for a late lunch. Food was what I expect from a simple Korean restaurant - tasty but not excellent and decently priced...and btw, the restaurant serves Korean and not Chinese food.

This is a great Korean Resturant just right next to the parking lot. Just remember they do not make spicy dishes. Other than that it is awesome. Big LCDs tvs inside for watching sports.

Very hard to find soft tofu soup when I was in Vancouver back in summer. This place is one of the best ones I've had so far and I will come back again!

We decided to have dinner in Chinatown after a day at the ROM with our Mom from California. My husband was stationed in Korea and was insisting on eating at a Korean restaurant. Well guess what, not only did we find one, but we found an authentic one with amazing service and food. This place is inexpensive, yet the portions are plentiful and delicious. I would definitely go back, it was awesome.

Korean BBQ hotspots in Toronto

Korean BBQ hotspots in Toronto

If Kensington Market is known for anything, it’s the eclectic mix of shops and restaurants, particularly Ka-Chi. Because when you’re looking for potato pancakes to act as a side for glass noodles, there’s nowhere else you’d rather be. And true to Korean BBQ form, they come with all the sides.
