Earls Kitchen + Bar welcomes you to their dining room. Come relax at the bar with a cocktail. They are open at night all week and are conveniently reachable by public transit and bicycle. Come visit them in a surrounding known as lively.
The original Earls location underwent a renovation in 2012, turning it into a sleek, elegant hangout that feels entirely après-work appropriate. The drink list ranges from sweet (the Bellinis are killer) to savoury, like the Cabin Fever – a mix of Crown Royal and port with an acorn garnish. The lounge has enough televisions that you can catch a game after work while enjoying awesome bevvies with pals. But it doesn’t feel like a sports bar – rather, it’s a multi-purpose lounge with flair.
Toronto’s Financial District imbibers are better off for having an Earls in their corner. This upscale chain restaurant located on King West features gourmet comfort food, wines, beers and classic cocktails. It’s one of the neighbourhood’s top picks for a packed happy hour patio, but it’s just as good for late-night cocktails and Sunday brunch, too. Oh, and the Moscow Mule is mixed to perfection, with vodka, ginger and fresh lime juice.
These Bellinis are another frozen favourite of mine. It’s a martini glass full of boozy, sweet slush that tastes of summer. Their frozen white peach Bellini consists of Appleton vx amber rum, white wine, red sangria and peaches. Yum.
