Best Dragon has the Best Lobster

This is the place I go to all the time for dim sum, not only because the location is easy to bus/drive to, the service is always exceptional. The staff is friendly and the dim sum is really good compared to other medium-sized restaurants. I also went to Best Dragon for dinner. I came with a big group of people so we ordered the set menu, which includes the Giant Lobster special, which is the best lobster I've ever eaten (I probably can't go back to small lobsters after this giant fellow) Peking Duck, Chinese vegetables, soup and many more. Best Dragon is definitely a hidden gem in York Region. Again, I cannot emphasize enough about the Giant Lobster!!! It is the best seafood dish I have tried!

DON'T LET THE NAME FOOL YOU

My boyfriend and I took our chances and experimented here a couple of weeks ago. We tend to stay away from places with names such as: Best Seafood, Best Dragon, Best Sushi, I Love Sushi, for reasons that don't require explanation. We both love good Chinese food and dim sum (I especially enjoy cart service) and came here on a busy Saturday afternoon. We had everything we came for: shumai (the best we've had!), steamed shrimp dumplings, steamed chive dumplings (the best dumpling they serve which is why we asked for a second order which they had to make in the kitchen), curried octopus, spring roll and we finished off with egg tarts (the best egg tarts ever!!). The best dim sum hands down in Toronto and we were surprisingly met with excellent service and friendly staff who could speak some English. My biggest pet peeve however is listening to the incredibly LOUD clatter of dirty dishes being wiped off the table In their big hurry to turn over tables quickly for people lined up for seats, they forget about us civilized people who are trying to enjoy a nice meal. I also tried not to let my witnessing a waiter drag a big dirty garbage bag ACROSS the main dining floor (ever heard of the back kitchen door!?!) get me disgusted. Surely, he thought no one would pay attention to him and lucky for them they have excellent food which will have us returning again. Also, they charge $1.50 for tea, much to my surprise since these are free of charge (standard at other eateries).
