Best service in town

I was very pleased with the friendly service I received from this office. The staff that worked there are pleasant to deal with and always there to answer any of my question. I purchased my first home and I had no idea what to do but the staff was there to help me through this process.

"different experiance"

I went to see this lawyer (lavak location) to close the deal on my house. This experience was alot different from my past experiences at lawyers offices. 1 the office is a complete disaster with files everywhere. The office is the size of my bathroom! I felt bad for the girl behind the desk. Lol. 2, i wasn't welcomed or offered a seat to sit down ( no room for a chair). I signed all papers bent over on top of the paper covered desk. 3, I wasn't offered a drink either. 4, The receptionist was NEVER friendly on the phone when i called her previously, i seemed to have been bothering her with every call. HOWEVER i wasn't there for comfort just to get done what i needed to which was accomplished. This office is definitely cheaper than other lawyers so I guess they cut the price down in order to compensate for the terrible customer service! Lol

Not Impressed

Got a title change on my home and a remortgage which proved to be quite the endeavor at this office. What could have taken days took weeks... when we were just about to complete everything the banks could not get a hold of anyone at this office for days to finalize the deal... even I tried calling daily and no answer, no machine and no notification of any kind of when they would be open again. Very poor business practice and even poorer customer service. The bank I was dealing with couldn't believe how difficult it was to get documents from the lawyer's office. I think they were more frustrated dealing with MacMillan then I was. Pay they extra money and go with an office that has an answering machine. This place is a joke.

GET ANOTHER LAWYER

Well…this was our first buying experience with this firm and our last. They may be one of the cheapest lawyers in town…but you better hope you do not run into any problems after the matter…because based on my experience…I got what I paid for. We closed a house deal…the day we took possession; furniture and so much stuff was left in this home. We spent over a week trying to get compensation for this nonsense and nothing could be done. Both I and my spouse were very frustrated with the lack of response. Getting close to two weeks we finally get an answer stating no credit or compensation was to be given and that we need to look after the matter ourselves…what a joke! We spent the following weekend looking at getting rid of something that was not our responsibility nor was it in the chattels in a legal binding document. 7 huge trips to the dump…I have purchased 9 other homes in the past and never have experience such poor effort, follow up and service. My recommendations…pay a little more and get another lawyer.
