Mandarin Restaurant

The service was great, very clean, but the food was less than average. Everything was almost cold. No warm food at all and only about two of their dishes was edible. Would not got back.

What happened to the cheesecake ? Rather glue like & heavy .

I have visited a few locations and can truthfully say yours is the best and cleanest of them all and I recommend your location to everyone who wants to know a good place to eat.

Happened to be in the area and needed somewhere to eat, so we decided to try Eglinton Mandarin (we usually frequent the Pickering location). Unfortunately, this location is much more cramped and the buffet is just packed at dinner time, with no room to navigate. Unfortunately, the black pepper steak tray was empty for the whole night, so couldn't eat that. Upon being seated at the table, I noticed a couple of filthy spoons. This was disappointing. Additionally, we were seated by a waiting station, and there was a visible broom and dust pan full of garbage. These types of things should be well hidden until they need to be used. The bill was totaled incorrectly (about $25 too high). It was corrected. Would not go back here, which is a shame, because I enjoy their Pickering location (which is currently under/near completion of a renovation).

Wow the greatest food in town!

The presentation of this resturant & it's wonderful services, just can't be underated. The food is very fresh & there's such a wide choice to saver. Get a small plateful, see what taste best for you & then go back for a fresh plate of all your favorites. Perhaps even try something new to ya. The staff are always friendly & outgoing! If there were a 6th star, I would indeed give it to them. Simply Wonderful.

I really love the mandarin. it is my favourite restaurant. the buffet is great and i always go back not just for seconds but fifths and sixths. its better just to get a little food and go back a lot of times, but the ''welcome to the mandarin'' does get really annoying when you are sitting at your table and you hear it every time someone comes in.

I think overall the resturant was okay. I would probably come back at a less busy time to ensure there would be more food. I like their desserts however. Too many people say 'Welcome to Mandarin'...its gets really annoying.
