Reading all these reviews and they are completely wrong. I do notice though that the dates are from years ago. I went there recently, and was seated immediately and greeted well. My food tasted great and i loved the atmosphere. I will come back again
I eat here before watching movies at the Cineplex next door. great location, same plaza as Walmart and bunch of other stores.
CHECK YOUR BILL if you go here. They will charge you FOR MORE ITEMS THAN YOU ORDERED RESULTING IN HIGHER PRICES and when you catch the higher prices they don't apologize. JUST CHECK YOUR BILL for they stuck me with appetizers I didn't order twice now.
I have been to many Boston Pizzas and this location is the worst location when it comes to services. Every time I visit, the service is slow, servers are inattentive, and I feel like I'm being hustled in and out like cattle. At times there are spots in the restaurant smell bad as you walk by. The food was to spec, but when servers are standing around your table chatting while you need to order, it's a little difficult to appreciate. It's a fun place to go when you're drunk, though, and no other restaurant in the area will serve you.
I went there for my sister's and my friend's birthday. Everything regarding the food and the service was great until we paid the bill and we were leaving. I was in the car and already left when I received a phone call from a friend saying that they were being detained by the service staff claiming that we did not pay one of the bills, and that they have their car's license plate and was threatening to call the police. So I went back and spoke to the restaurant server who said that one of the bills was missing so we had to pay for it, and that one of us was a thief (because we all paid separately). Now everyone at our table knew before we left that we had all paid and waited for the waiter to arrive before we left. So we have no idea what they were talking about a missing bill that wasn't paid. We asked if we could speak to the manager and the manager just basically came out and said that we have to pay the bill or else they're calling the police and I had people there who had to work early in the morning. We told them that we paid all the bills but they refused to listen and then continued to blame us saying that for a big party we should not have separated all the bills and just had it as one big bill. They accused both of the birthday people for not paying the bill in which case I know they did as I helped paid for one and the other one got change from the server. Eventually the person who paid for the bill that was missing came and asked to speak to the manager about the situation in which case the manager continued that he will call the police if we did not pay the bill and not only that but the service staff came and spoke to us how it is a busy restaurant someone could have came and picked up the bill and that we should have left like we did and all these other excuses, in which case as a restaurant manager myself don't understand why this restaurant manager allowed his service staff to behave in this sort of way. We ended up paying the bill again so that we could leave, and we called the head office the next day to file a complaint in which case we never received an apology from the boston pizza head office, and never heard from them. This type of service is not only rude but also embarrassing to the consumer. In addition $60 for a medium size pizza and an alcoholic drink is ridiculous. No one from my party are ever going to a Boston pizza again as this is how we were treated.
nice italian family restaurant. not noisy except in the bar. food is a good value. if you want gourmet go somewhere else adequate service. a little slow to get bill (like always)
I don't know what it is about the Boston Pizza Franchise and consistently meeting my expectations for god-awful service. It's like it is part of the company philosophy or mission statement. Food is not bad though.
everytime my friends and i go here, or when its just my boyfriend and myself, the service is always horrible. If you're sitting in the bar you have to wait quite awhile for service, even on the deadest of days. Meanwhile, we only go for the team pitchers now. Not for the food or service, just cheap beer but moxies is going pretty good in the competition. The dining side is pretty bad too, the servers dont know their specs when they should.. When i asked a question about what was in the sauce due to allergy cpncerns, they didnt know and had to go to the B.O.H. to come back and tell us that the line cooks didnt know either so they had to check in the book. Thats just shows how the restaurant is run.
My review is AWSOME!!! Its such a great resturant everything down to the servers. So places have rude service but not boston pizza.
friendly service at a roadhouse style restaurant. sports bar and patio on the other side. food not fancy but portion size was good, food came quickly and was as exactly as described on menu. no surprises.
We were served wings that were still frozen in the middle and there was nothing done to compensate us, i.e. coupons or an apology.
