Dynasty Chinese Restaurant

The food is excellent, the service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Dynasty.

I'm not too sure about Dynasty's dinner menu but i would definetly say that Dynasty sure serves up the Best Dim Sum in all of Toronto. Everytime i crave for Dim Sum i would often come here in the morning because they serve good quality food, The staff is also very kind and helpful and the service is fast. I don't like those typical chinese cart dim sum cause the food becomes cold and tastes horrible! All the food at dynasty comes out hot right away for you. I would also have to say that this place makes the best Crusty Taro Rolls!! Crunchy on the outside, soft and tasty inside! By far my fave dish and also the almond pudding! I love it!

Least dangerous to high-risk kids and adults

The dishes may not taste fantastic but they taste good and kids and adult family members with nut-peanut allergies so severe that epipen is a must at any dining table can eat the food safely. Whatever ingredients they use are fresh, real and without spices and seasonings that may bring about a life-threatening reaction. For diners with high-risk family members, Dynasty is okay.

For cheap but good food this place is great. I live nearby and i order it maybe twice a month. The soups are so good. Everything has great flavour For just a quick and easy meal I like this place. Yes, there are better places but the woman who works there is so sweet and I like to support local business in my area. Especially when it is so tasty.

This place is pretty bad.

I too have been looking for a great Chinese in the 905 that is outside of a Chinese Mall. So let's have a reality check, the best Chinese food I have had is in the Pacific Mall at Kennedy/Steeles. There are some other great restaurants on Highway 7 that I have tied but they are a little intimidating as in some of them no one speaks any English. That being said I am looking for a good option closer to home. I went to the Dynasty based on the reviews given on this website - this was a big mistake! The lowdown: - Restaurant is pretty ugly (I don't care about this if the food is good) - Lemon Chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken came in batter that could of been used as a door stop which is a good thing as I did not eat more than a bite before my throat closed in reflex to try and save my heart from certain death and my stomach from certain regret. - Fried chicken wings were bland and unbelievably greasy. Even my 6 year-old who can demolish a wide variety of greasy food without question could not eat more than half of one -The Chicken Sweet Corn soup wasn't bad, decent flavor and completely edible (but not great). - The other dishes were all a little less than average, all a little too greasy with flavors missing the right notes. I am not sure how people can rate this restaurant 9 and above other than assume that they are either related to the owners or enjoy bathing their internal organs with flavorless lard and grease.

My difficult search for a decent Chinese Food restaurant in the 905 has final come to an end. Dynasty Chinese Restaurant lives up to the positive reviews on Restraurantica! Our dinner items were delicious and offered better quality than then the Chinese Food Restaurants on Spadina downtown. The authentic Chinese ingredients combined with multiple layers of taste made my dinner experience amazing. Our server was curtious and friendly and continually made sure that we were happy customers. The ambience and decor is dated, but what do you expect out of a restaurant that primarily deals with take-out orders. I would recommend Dynasty Chinese Restaurant to anyone looking for a great Chinese Food in Richmond Hill!

Honestly, andy positive review on this site must be from people who don't really know chinese food. Although the food was prepared ok and I'm sure their techniques are authentic...the food is substandard, plain and simple, and in my case, it didn't taste very good. Thus restaurant is not for serious chinese food lovers. Hot and Sour soup was good.

Over the course of ordering or eating there, we have never been dissatisfied with any of their food. I also found they have the best Hot & Sour Soup I have ever tasted. You definitely can not go wrong with eating their food or the friendliness of the owners and staff.

I have to agree with the other reviews - the food was hot, fresh, and tasty. We really enjoyed our dinner. We have tried a few Chinese Restaurants in the area but have been dissappointed until now. We will definitely be ordering from them again. Order consisted of chichen balls, mushroom fried rice, Cantonese chow mein. Can't wait to try more dishes. Very pleasant service from ordering to delivery.

The Garlic Noodles are Loaded with flavour!! and the soup is the best won ton soup i have ever tasted! the BBQ chicken chunks are really good same with the Beef and sauteed vegtables and i would defanitly come back here many times again!!!!

I am curious to go back to see if I am "wowed" the way the other reviewers have been. The service was certainly very sweet and attentive, and the food was fresh and tasty, although on the salty side. The decor was sparse and depressing. I was really wanting to love my meal at this restaurant, but unfortunately, I was not blown away the way I expected to be. This seemed like a standard suburban mediocre chinese restaurant.

God bless Dynasty! We have yet to order something that was not outstanding and delivered piping hot and fresh since they opened. They are a regular favourite and HIGHLY recommended as THE BEST Chinese Food in the area (Richmond Hill/Thornhill) at a reasonable price. And speedy delivery too. (Shhhhhh. It's our best kept secret)

Kelly is an absolute ANGEL. She makes our family feel more welcome in her establishment than our own family does when visiting!!! She has the most genuine people skills, truly cares, bends over backwards to remember everyone's name and what they like to order. Jim, her husband, does and excellent job preparing the food and they've made addicts out of us. Having come from Ottawa where there are a number of great Chinese Food restaurants there I was REALLY disappointed with Chinese Food in the GTA, I can't explain it or why that would be, but since discovering Dynasty (thanks to their awesome $4.99 lunch special) I've found my oasis. A true Richmond Hill gem.

To start, I am an avid chinese food eater and love trying new places out to try out new selections etc.. Dynasty has a great staff and I can not stop myself from going to dynasty over and over again. I bring all my friends and family who dont believe me that this place has the top quality to match the un-believable lunch special deals or all other choices on the menu (they definitely have the best spring-roll I have ever tried FOR ABOUT A BUCK). To conclude, Dynasty has upped the ante for all other chinese restaurants in the GTA.

This is by far the best chinese takeout anywhere in Richmond Hill. The quality of the food is remarkable, and the people who own the restaurant (we always pick up as it's close to home) are genuinely happy to see us and definitely appreciate our business.
