I've been eating ...

I've been eating here off and on for about twenty years and the food is consistently excellent. My one complaint (perhaps more of an observance, really) relates to how noisy it can get with a full house. Once upon a time, they used to have a carpeted dining room but changed it to tile about ten years ago. Needless to say, sounds are no longer muffled.

My favourite restaurante

I just called to make a reservation and realised that I have been going to this restaurant for more than 15 years. I have tried Vietnamese restaurants in Montreal, Toronto, Atlanta Ga., Los Angeles Ca. and this is by far the absolute best Vietnamese restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. This is a family run restaurant and the food is always fresh. Han and his sister are congenial, attentive and truly care about your well being. I always recommend this restaurant to my friends. Start with either the shrimp roles with peanut sauce or the awesome spring roles with fish sauce and then select from a wide variety of chicken, beef and sea food items. You can always specify regular, hot or very hot for any entree. When you are done, ask for the special Vietnames coffee served on ice. You will not regret it.

Best lunch menu in town

If you want Vietnamese food, Vietnam Palace has the best, most affordable lunch menu in town. We go there for lunch nearly every week. The main menu is large and there is a dish for everyone. Try it -- you will like it.

I have tried many and this one is different!

the food was cooked well, the prices were very reasonable (cheaper compared to most Vietnamese restaurent)and the variety of what you can order is endless... The service was decent though tables for two were small. I ordered two dishes and my friend ordered one dish, and we hardly fitted everything on the table. The decorations, atmosphere, warm feeling and sense of originality in the restaurant alone drive me to say that i will go back there again. it is such a romantic spot to be at. much recommended for anniversaries! and for drinkers, they serve alcohol...

Best Vietnamese food in Ottawa

EXCELLENT!

It became my favorite restaurant. I tried it 3 or 4 times before and I loved the food, the staff, the quick service and the atmosphere every time. My husband is bringing me again for our wedding anniversary and I can't wait. I strongly recommend it.
