MULLIGATAWNY SOU
A true product of the British Raj, this soup emerged in response to the demands of the pukka sahib for a soup with which to commence his meal. Made of lentils, red, chilies, ginger, turmeric and other spices, it forms a useful appetizer. Includes a warm glow to counteract cilly weather.
