    The Best

    For fresh and/or organic fruits and veggies and special condiments (read the label), a huge selection of dried beans this is the place. There are fancy local mushrooms, imported fresh figs, and a plethora of delicacies to choose from. In season, their globe artichokes are HUGE. They offer weekly organic food boxes to your order and what's in season. Byward Fruit is conveniently located in the Byward Market. The staff is always helpful. This is a busy store for a good reason.
