As others have said, I don’t even think this company deserves one star... be really careful with these guys. This company is mendacious at best, do not do business with them. 1 3/4 years ago, I moved into a place with an existing SP hot water heater. The rental charge was around 10$/month. Within a week I received a bill for 3 years worth of rental. I called them nicely and reported the mistake. I received harassing and threatening emails and calls from them for 20 months. Avoid. fraud

If I could give Sandpiper no stars I would. I have experienced TERRIBLE service (if you can even call it service) from this company. We moved into our rental unit in December and in January we noticed the hot water was running out quite fast. It was around this time that Sandpiper called US and advised our tank was old and that it needed to be replaced. Terrible company. Bought a home with a useless 7 year old softener that did not work. Almost 2 years later I received a bill for $850.00 because that was when they got around to sending me the bill. Ridicous.

If I could give a zero star I would! Customer service is so bad. STAY AWAY! I have never dealt with a costumer service representative that's so rude and hang up on customers.

Purchasing a home from someone, dumb enough to rent a water heater, $50 / month for a 30 Gallon tank. We didnt think twice about the fact that theres a rental of the hot water tank as my parents are renting one for $20 / month for a 40 Gallon tank, so figured it would be comparable in price. On top of that, theres a $40 fee to transfer the rental over to us. I cant even find out how long the term is until I sign their contract agreeing to their terms. Stay away, stay far away.

RUN SO FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE ! THEY ARE LIARS! If you buy a home that has a rented anything from these people do not take on the contract. They will mess with you. They told me 2 years ago there was one year left on the contract, NOW they tell me there is 10-15 YEARS left and that we owe them $1400 to buy out for a broken water heater. They dont care who they rip off, the poor, elderly, anyone! They just want their money! Their apologies are empty, this is a reflection of them as a company.

Hot water heater contract was not available to me when I signed the purchase agreement for my new home. Purchase terms ony stated the heater would be a rental-no other terms. Imagine my surprise when the first bill arrived 12 months after occupancy for a monthly fee of $45! Never would have accepted their contract if I was doing the arrangements personally. Looking to buyout but their price of $5400 (based on a 10 year life of the tank) is hard to agree with as well. This is a disgusting.

On 02 May 2018 after a number of unsolicited calls, I allowed a service technician to visit my house to review the existing rental water heater. The service technician determined that I needed a new heater and recommended a 40 gallon water heater to replace the existing 60 gallon heater – a recommendation the installing contractor also questioned. Anyone reading this, DO NOT upgrade your tank if they are calling you to do so. After I booked an appointment and the sales man came & left (I didnt resign because something didnt feel right) I found out this company had been billing me FOR YEARS for NO REASON. Their excuse to me was it was my responsibility to know when my term was up. I moved into the home w/the unit already here so I had no idea. They refuse to give me my contract and they refuse to reimburse me. Unethical Disgusting company!

I emailed a few months ago to see how much I could buy out my rental contract for, which was responded to right away - for over $1,000. Once I asked for a copy of the agreement (5 times now) no one has responded. I even tried the website form which doesn't work. Diabolical service. I begrudge having to give them even 1 star. Incorrect invoicing, promising call backs that never happen, customer service staff that are that cannot answer queries, service visits that are actually a sales call.

do not deal with this company rented a water softener. I tried to cancel they told me I would have to pay $2000 to get out of a contract i signed when I bought my house. they sent it to collections without even a notice.

I wish I never used this company. From day one I have had a problem. They don't return calls either and I have had many problems with billing. Their unit is also extremely loud. Nothing good to say about his company.

Horrible company to deal with. We have had billing issues since day one. Once they got resolved I was sent to collections for a bill that was not even due yet. They will not remove their systems unless I pay out the systems plus removal fees. Beware of this company. I have notified the BBB of their poor business practices.
