North York’s Petit Potato has lunch and main menus filled with Taiwanese dishes like deep fried tofu with satay sauce and pork cutlet omurice with spicy curry sauce, but it’s the Golden Toast series that has been making waves in Toronto. The Golden Toast Series compromises of sweet toast piled high, and smothered in toppings like ice cream, marshmallows and strawberries. Some of them, standing at 10 inches high, are meant for sharing!
Petit Potato opened a few years ago and has been all over Instagram due to its Gold Toast Series. Stacked 10 inches high, the Golden Toast, soaked in sweet custard and butter, comes smothered in ice cream and either fruit, cookies or whipped cream. You can try multiple flavours like Oreo, Red Bean Matcha and Strawberry Special.
When the late night sugar cravings hit, head north of city to Petit Potato. Open late seven days a week, Petit Potato serves up its famous Golden Toast. The menu is a selection of stacked sweet bread, with ice cream and tonnes of toppings!
