Wow! what a great spot on King Street. Owner Tony Loschiavo has done it again. Newly opened Paese on King Street delivers. With a beautiful upscale atmosphere, fun and not pretentious, he is going to give the others on this King St West strip a run! Excellent food, great friendly genuine service. Can't wait to return for their bar menu that promises to have bar snacks with a twist. Big portions, affordable prices.
We have eaten at Paese many times - as a couple as well as with invited guests. Our larger groups have exceeded 30 people. We find that Paese is a warm , attractive and clean establishment - a busy place and so typically Italian!! The food is delicious. The staff are polite, friendly and quick. The atmosphere is sincere and lively. We especially like their desserts and coffee.
This must be the most underrated restaurant in the city! THe wine list is full of gems at unbelieveable prices. The staff are knowledgable, helpful & exceptionlly friendly. I would recommend to any foddie out there from all area of the city -close to highway!
