Our Founder, Gerry, Decided To Become A Baker While Watching A Fancy Pastry Chef Create His Magic. It Was During The Second World War, And The Pastry Chef, Who Was Being Housed, Along With Eleven Others, By Gerry'S Family, Was An Evacuee From The Burnt Out City Of Arnhem. Gerry Went On To Earn His Ba In Food Science, Arrived In Canada, And The Ultimate Truffle Was Born. That Was Back In 1981, And We'Ve Diligently Worked To Uphold The Tradition That Gerry Originally Set. We Still Make Our Truffles From Original Recipes, While We Continue To Create New Flavor Combinations On An Ongoing Basis. Our Truffles Contain Only The Freshest And Highest Quality Ingredients. We Even Make Our Own Cream. From Start To Finish, We Craft Our Truffle Centers, Hand Roll Them, Hand Dip And Decorate Them.
