Lily's Chinese Take-Out & Delivery

I have been a customer of lily's for quite awhile now and tonight was the worst service I have ever had. We ordered our food which by the way was over $60 worth and waited over an hour and a half when promised 45 minutes when the guy got to our door my husband asked for a discount due to the long wait nd the guy ended up saying he had to talk to his boss and took our food and drove away. so now we don't have dinner or a great opinion of this place.that is not how yoh treat customers

I've eaten Asian food from Toronto to Windsor I don't know what they do but it's by far the tastiest food price is reasonable

I am somewhat surprised at the glowing reviews that I encountered on this web site and found myself questioning their accuracy. A relative suggested that I sample this restaurant prompting me to do so with my 10 and 5 year old in tow. We were greeted by a lovely woman who was cordial and welcoming. The decor for the restaurant was clean but somewhat dated. When I brought my children up to the buffet to inspect the offerings, we were most disappointed. The chicken wings appeared dry and burnt. The fried rice and vegetable dish were very basic, lacking any hint of additional colour - very bland indeed. The other items were equally unimpressive. My children and I concluded unanimously that neither of us wanted to lunch at this restaurant and promptly excused ourselves and left. I am convinced that much better value may be found elsewhere.

I wish I still lived in the area

I haven't been to Lily's in a while now because I moved out of the area, and I miss it a lot. The buffet consists of only 6 or 7 items, but they're always the best choices and they're always fresh and delicious. They almost always have crispy chicken wings, which are AMAZING. Fried rice, chow mein, mixed vegetables, egg rolls and chicken balls are also very common. The selection is limited, but they always seem to have what you really want. The best part is, it's CHEEEEAP. If I remember correctly, it was only $6.75 for all you can eat. I don't even know how they can afford to stay in business at that price. The first time I went there was with three friends and we were shocked that the bill only came to 20 bucks. We threw in an extra 10 because we were just so satisfied. I always make sure I tip extra, because it would be an absolute shame to see Lily's go under. I think I'm going to have to make a special trip some time soon because I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. TRY THIS FOOD! EDIT: I take it back... It's $5.70!! I was in the neighbourhood so I stopped by for lunch. It was just as amazing as I remembered it. I frequently eat at King's Buffet, the Mandarin and Manchuria Garden. Lily's tops them all. GO THERE NOW!!

They have the best chinese food I have ever eaten!. I told all of my friends about them and they all order regularly now. Their staff and delivery personnel are very friendly. There are certain foods I cannot eat due to a medical illness I have and they have always accomodated my request to substitute. Their prices are more than reasonable and they are not skimpy on the food. They tell you delivery can take up to 45 mins but I've never waited that long yet. Besides it is more than worth the wait.

Amazing! Although small and not located in the most attractive building, Lily's food is by far the best Chinese food I have ever had. The restaurant is clean and service is great. Although the buffet selection is small, the food is made as you eat so that it is always fresh and hot. Don't pass this one by!

Buffet consisted of only 6 items! Take-out menu has the smallest selection of items I have ever seen for a chinese food place. If you enjoy cheap chicken balls and rice in a run down building, then this is the place for you. If you are looking for more authentic dishes then look else where.

Althoug this place is just a little hole in the wall that you would never know what there unless someone poiinted it out to you -it is a great place for lunch. For $5.00 you get the all- you can eat lunch buffett - and althogh it is small - you still have the standard chicken balls, fired rice, and egg ro.ls among other things. Though the p lace is not much to look at from the outside (or even the inside for that matter) if you can get past the appearance - you won't be dissappointed!! My freinds and I live in the extreme West end of the city - and this restaurant is quit a bit EOA (a term that any local will understand) we make the drive - passing over lots of other chineese pl;aces to get to Lily's.
