it was breakfast, it wasn't that spectacular, it was under cooked to my liking, didn't mean you couldn't eat it, the coffee was dreadful. I don't expect amazing coffee really, but it was warm and brown in color, no taste, awful
Yep, its really that great!
This is one of those staples in Lindsay, right on the main street, kinda small and understated; but once you've eaten here you will always come back.
Jane's menu is simple, and enjoyable. Everything is always great, service included. They are very accommodating, and fairly priced. Others have complained about the decor, but I think it adds to the "Kountry Kitchen" charm.
Also, anywhere that does an "all day breakfast" is good with me
Now, the resturant decor isn't the nicest..it definately needs to be updated. That won't stop me from going here. First impression walking in isnt too great to be honest. But aside from that the food is great. Fresh, homemade, very comforting. I highly reccomend something called The Kountry Trio. I swear I could eat this everyday. They always have fresh, hot homemade soup. Ive tried many different soups and have enjoyed them all. . so good. its served with a garlic home loaf..no words can describe how good it is! and You must try the garden salad with thier homemade salad dressing!! I wish I could buy the stuff! its amazing! The one waitress there doesnt seem too friendly. But its not intentional. I think thats just the way she is. shes never rude, and is always attentive. she just doesnt seem overly friendly. Also..there are a few regulars who are a bit "off" but the food is so good I keep coming back. Homemade goodness!
