OK Tire

I called OK tire, got quoted $150-200 to replace car battery and when I settled the bill, the charge was $370. Will not give my business again

Hi Guys...I just wanted to drop you a line regarding my recent snow tire purchase. I am extremely happy with my new Toyo Tires on my 2012 Prius. They run smoothly and quietly. Handling is excellent. You were able to work me in between other appointments and provided me with honest advice and superior service. I felt the price was reasonable and the work was done to my complete satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend your shop to my friends and family. OK Tires are A ok!!

I got into an accident one month after I purchased "new" tires from this location which destroyed 3 of them. When my mechanic removed the tires from the rims recently, he pointed out that the tires were very old, considering I told him that I purchased them only one year earlier. After looking into it I realized that the tires were 5 and a half years old at the time of purchase. I spoke with the regional manager of OK Tire, as well as the manager of this store. The best they could do was to offer me replacement tires at cost with free labour. Although this was a generous offer, I was not interested in paying for tires a second time when the first set I received that I paid full price for were severely aged. The owner has since blocked my from his Facebook page after I left a negative review sharing my experiences. I would not recommend this location to anyone, and if you have purchased tires from this location in the past, I recommend you check the age of the tire which is stamped on the sidewall. I have since called multiple other OK Tire locations and they were appalled to hear about my story and the age of the tires I was sold. Costco informed me that they will never sell tires that are older than 3 years old and the age of the tire is even recorded on your statment. Canadian tire has informed me that when their tires are three years old, they are listed as clearance and are sold discounted. Tire rack will note on their website if a tire is more than 2 years old and it will be heavily discounted. My intent with this review is not to make this company look bad. I just want to make sure than other don't have to go through the same situation that I have. Thank you.
