I brought my family (2 boys and husband) to red lobster to have a dinner out and do ever regret it! We waited for over an hour with two small children. We still had not received our dinner and proceeded to get up to leave when our waitress came. I asked her to pack it all up due to the fact our kids were restless and it was 7 pm. The manager then came up to me and proceeded to tell me we had only been there for 30 mins and its not her problem we may have had to wait to be seated. That was not the case at all we wait less then 5 mins to be seated. I couldn't believe how rude she was. Not a good example to set for the employees to say the least! I used to love coming there but after the way I was treated I will never be returning!! Awful service not impressed!
I want to thank Kimmie, our server for outstanding service! My sister and I were treating my ill Uncle and Aunt to a very special take-out lunch. She thought of everything and more to include, even the lobster bibs. The day was more than special and primarily it was due to her thoughtfullness! A big WOOHOO! for Kimmie and the staff of Red Lobster Kingston!
i used to go more often, but it seems to be going downhill. the servers are awesome despite the worst management of any non-owner run restaurant in kingston. Service is good. kitchen is going downhill. i like the lobster bisque. and i like how making substitution and changes is always so easy. I still go once in a while as it is a cheap meal, but i don't go in expecting much so it turns out okay. don't bother complaining to the management.
The meal (lunch) was really good and was cheap, but it was really small, so if you're hungry like me, you might wanna order 2 things. The biscuit appetizers they give you were amazing.
my chicken sandwich was really good, but it was quite small for the price i paid... there weren't that many fries on the plate (and i would expect alot for 8.99) and the bun was really small... about the size of my palm. nevertheless, it was good. my family thoroughly enjoyed their meal, and the biscuits that the give you for starters are AMAZING!!
service was excellent.. had a waitress named Nikki and she was extremely knowledgeable and warm. might go back (not a seafood lover so there wasn't a whole load of choice to choose from but the selection isnt bad)

The food was great!!! We had a bit of a wait at the door but not too long. The kids were exceptionally well looked after, and things went very smoothly. Table was spotless...and I am very particular about those things.
Our server David was extremely menu savy and answered all of our questions. It was funny when he was busy another server brought our drinks right away and asked how everything was going, played with the kids, when David returned she said " well I'd better go and let my HUSBAND do his work!!!! We felt like we were sitting in their home as invites!!!! All the servers were great!!!

Surprisingly good for a upper-middle level chain restaurant. I've ordered the Tilapia in a bag many times, and it is always hot, fresh, tasty, and very filling. The drink was massive, and the waiter did not charge us for the alcohol when asked for it virgin. The waiter (an 30-somethign guy, named Mark maybe) was friendly, attentive, easy going. Fantastic experience was an eye opener.

The only thing that was actually alittle strange was that when we ordered our meal we got everything all at once which I thought was a bit strange the place was packed.Other than that it was so good.We will be back for sure.Make sure though you don't eat all day cause you will leave very full.

Genuinely mediocre food from a predictable chain restaurant. Lots of butter - with the lobster, in the pasta sauce, on the buns. Lobster isn't great quality, but decent enough. The shrimp are very small, and were slightly overcooked.
Waitress forgot to bring tools to crack apart the lobster, and drinks weren't refilled.

This was my first visit to Red lobster since I am not a seafood fan. Told the waitress it was the first time eating crab legs and she was more than happy to explain how to get into the good meat. She was very helpful when asked for extra plates for sharing. However, our drinks were never refilled (1 pop and 2 waters)
