Had a great time there tonight. Had our whole hockey team in and they did a great job making sure we were well taken care of. The thing that impressed me was my steak was cooked right and was a really good cut of meat. The servers we had were very nice and paid us good attention. We will be going back
This spot is one of the more popular for the university student population in the area. Their karaoke night on Tuesday is particularly popular. It is known as a sports bar, however when stepping in expecting to see any of the games on television you will instead be treated to most of them featuring the local news, or the abysmal TSN Sportscentre. If you dare to ask them to change to a game that is on, they will promptly inform you that they are extremely busy (no matter how dead the place is) and they will take about 15-20 minutes fumbling around to get the game you requested on a television that will likely be far away from you. The owner/manager, a bald heavy set fellow, is equally as rude and ignorant as his staff, and it reflects on the restaurant itself. The food is what you will usually be given at any Boston Pizza location; overpriced and barely adequate. For those expecting a good experience when watching a basketball, football, or hockey game. Look someplace else. You will be treated poorly and the service will be slow (I went with a group before and was serviced a total of 2 times within a three hour period). If you want a sports bar that will treat you with respect as a paying costumer, please go somewhere else.
The food prices are going up, but the quality of the food is drastically declining. The chicken in the pasta is very low quality (very spongey and flavourless). Staff is friendly, but food often arrives cold. It's not horrible, but it's definately not worth the price it costs now. $14 for pasta, $13 for wrap.
THE food was quite tasty... i ordered the steak sandwich and was not expecting it to come open-face but it was good. The garlic bread it came atop really complimented the steak. The only problem with the steak was that it was not cut evenly and the first half of it was a perfect med-rare like i ordered and the other half was completely rare. Too rare for my liking. We also ordered the bbq chicken pizza and it did not disappoint us. The crust was crispy... pizza was awesome. My husband rated his cajun rice bowl only a 5 out of 10. Our waitress was ok... nothing to write home about. Christa was her name. I found the music a bit too loud (difficult to hear my hubby talk). And the place was kinda cold inside... i don't like eating with my jacket on...
I visit this location often and find the food to be what you would expect in a chain restaurant, good but nothing outstanding. If you plan on sitting on the bar side I would suggest doing so during the hours that the daytime bartender works as she is very good at her job. She is friendly, attentive, and doesn't leave you waiting. Overall a good place for lunch.
3 of us go almost every friday after work (it's within walking distance and there's not much else around that's convenient to all 3 of us) our drinks are always prompt (we sent one back once as it wasn't really what one of us wanted and they were more then happy to make another one-at no charge) we only ever get appetizers, dessert and drinks and the apps are always hot and delicious, the desserts are always well presented. definitely going to continue the tradition on friday nights!!

The roast beef sandwich was tasty, but largely unremarkable. Salad was also decent. Prices were much too high for the quality of the food; not good value. Service was pretty good. I might return if someone else in the party insists on it, but my preference would be to eat at a comparable non-chain establishment.
It was late when we decided to grab some dinner. Boston Pizza was the only place that was still serving food later at night. The pizza was beyond over-priced for its size. The wings were "chewy", although the hot sauce was some of the best I've had. Good place if you want to go for drinks.... but I won't be returning for food. There are so many better choices for pizza and wings in Hamilton!!
Had a great time and really good food The service was great, our waitress was very attentive to the kids and made sure we had full drinks all the time even though it was really busy. The two pizzas we tried were very good (the BBQ chicken is incredible) and I was surprised to find that my sons ribs were excellent. My only complaint if I had one would be that the schooner of beer was too big
The food was amazing. Ive heard alot about these Boston Pizza's, having alot of frozen products. I spoke with the manager, and he was more than informative about what products are frozen, and what arent. None the less, the final product was well worth the money. The service was equally amazing. We had sat, ordered drinks and had the drinks within 3 minutes of entering the building. And i love the builing. Contemporary design, with a bit of vintage style. MOvie posters from the 60's as well as sporting memrobeila through out the bar.
We go to Boston Pizza in West Hamilton three to four times a month and we are never disappointed. The French Onion Soup always tastes the same (excellent), the twist bread is great, thai chicken bites awesome as are all the salads. Everything tastes the same each time you go, the service is great. We love Boston Pizza. The Fish Bowls are a great treat. I think we've only had two things we didn't like there. It's not fine dining, but it certainly is a great "let's go for dinner" place.
For what it is, this is a fine place to eat. If you are in a strange city and don't know where to go, you know you will get a good meal here. It will be reliably the same wherever you go. It is good, basic food of decent quality, with the chain-standard for service. You can find non-franchise places much cheaper, however. They have booths, the sports bar, and NTN trivia screens like any place that hopes to serve food and appeal to the after-game crowd.
I have gone to several of their outlets and I have had about four of their varieties, but the chicken is a favourite. I have always had good service and good food there. And it is so much fun to get the trivia machines and play against my ex-husband - if I win, he has to pay! Pleasant, filling and reliable.
Food is bland, i've trried the pizza and the pasta. Hardly any flavour save your $$ or go somewhere else!
Terrible Terrible Terrible Service Had a party of 15 to celebrate a school function. Made reservations and everything, screwed everything up including over charging on the bill. Food was sub-par at best, but hey what do you expect from a corporate restuarant. Way Way over priced
Funnily enough, when a restaurant has the name of a food in it's name, you'd think they be good at that dish. Boston Pizza's pizza is sub-par compared to many Mom-and-Pop delivery outfits. The food is greasy, too cheese-laden, overcooked, and quite simply overpriced considering it wouldn't be worthy of many high school cafeteria's. In addition, the rest of their pasta menu is horrible. Boston Pizza is simply a waste of time. The service stinks (unless you're ordering team pitchers of beer) and the food is poor. The atmosphere is the same, tired, sports-bar look that seems as if all the memorabilia came out of a sports-bar-in-a-box kit. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Don't bother going here...the food is frozen and then nuked...it was disgusting!
