Pastors Johan and Gerda du Toit were born and raised in South Africa. Pastor Johan grew up in a family of ministers with strong commitment to the church, first attending the Apostolic Faith Mission a Pentecostal denomination started by John G. Lake. After a 20 year career in banking in South Africa, they left for Flanders, Belgium, to pastor a local church as missionary pastors.
