Rather standard fare but a pleasant place to eat. Food is reliably prepared. There is an outside deck with tables & chairs if the weather is good. Interesting decor.Good draft beer.
The drinks we ordered before dinner came quickly the server was friendly, however we are pretty sure she forgot to put our dinner order thru. We waited over an hour for our food, (it was not busy) when it did finally arrive the burger was uncooked, chicken was cold, fries were cold everything was cold.soup was adequate, doubt it was homemade. We had the brushetta last year and it was really tasty this year they changed it and not for the better it was a round loaf of bread (pretty sure was previously frozen) and the tomato mixture was on the side, So basically it's make your own brushetta! Who's bright idea was that? We sent the meals back and decided not to stay. We will not be back for a meal.
Our daughter gave us a gift certificate for 50.00 for the Lakehouse for Christmas. We went in in Jan for an appitizer and a drink. They would not honour the
certificate. We only used 25.00 on it....did not want any cash back....just a credit for what was left. We were told we had to spend it all. We paid cash for our appetizer and drinks. Went back a couple of weeks later and had dinner. We thought it would have been nice to be able to go a couple of times during the winter for drinks and appitizers.
