Fantastic food, friendly staff and excellent service! I have been a loyal diner for lunch, dinner and my daughter's baby shower. Vibo is the best Italian restaurant that's been around for years.
I brought my girlfriend here for a surprise birthday dinner with friends and indicated that it was a surprise birthday when making my reservation. Not only did the staff do a fantastic job at keeping it a surprise until we arrived at the table where the friends were patiently waiting, but the staff had an amazing sense of humor which really contributed to making this night memorable - especially our waiters singing of ''happy birthday''! To top it all off, the food was AMAZING! I am of an Italian background and trust me, I have tried it all, but this was BY FAR the best ala vodka pasta I have ever had. Would have absolutely no hesitation recommending this ViBo to others!
First, let me start off by responding to the previous review....I have been going to ViBo forever & the veal piccata has never been $30!!! I went to ViBo on a Friday night with some friends, who are not from around the Etobicoke area & we had an absolutely fabulous time. The food was outstanding as always, the service was fabulous & the atmosphere was exciting & fun. My friends said that the gnocchi had to be the best that they had ever tried & were amazed that even though the restaurant was super busy the wait staff was extremely attentive. This is why ViBo is my favourite restaurant in Etobicoke, they never disappoint!!!

Food was ok. Steak was ordered med-rare, arrived med-well. When I sent it back, the waiter sighed at me and rolled his eyes. The steak I got back was different, but this time arrived blue. The waiter came by to ask if everything was ok with a very sarcastic tone. How can you treat paying customers this way and expect repeat business? The upside was that the restaurant is nice looking and clean, but for the price, the waiters should actually be pleasant to the customers.
At a certain price point, you expect a combination of a good meal, a good atmosphere and excellent service. Vibo's food is very good, but the staff leavemuch to be desired. Our waiter was rude and inattentive and ruinned what was otherwise a nice evening. We decided to have dessert elsewhere as we did not feel welcomed. On a somewhat busy Saturday night, it was obvious we were being rushed out so that the table could be reused. We may try it again, just because it is so close to our home, but our expectations will be minimal.
perfect roast lamb, short ribs that melt in your mouth roasted black cod are delicious. Service is fast and friendly. Wine list is very reasonable. Lots by-the-glass options. Piano man provided a lovely soundtrack to a wonderful evening. I would recommend this to people looking for a 3 course dinner or to those looking for a simple plate of pasta and nice glass of wine.
